That is a great way to do it! I was actually just on a mini-vacation this past week and kept a very similar schedule. It was nice to feel like I was still available for my clients but work wasn’t eating into my vacation time.

Great tip. I was just recently traveling in the Caribbean and wasn’t sure what kind of wireless would be available so I purchased an international data plan for my AT&T phone that came with unlimited texting and pretty cheap calls; I thought it was a good deal but I would definitely look into this for future trips. I often pair my travels with work, even on short vacations. I usually work from early morning until lunchtime and then spend the rest of the day exploring.
