I especially loved this part: “one of the most important attributes in a translator is not what they know, but how quickly and efficiently they are able to fill the gaps in what they don’t know”. I wholeheartedly agree! Being able to conduct research quickly and efficiently is essential for translators (and to a certain extent interpreters too).
