This microcredential is for language professionals already using AI who wish to customize models and automate complex workflows using priming, prompting, and agents for customized experiences.
Module 1
Advanced Priming and Cognitive Identity Design
This module helps you transition from basic prompting to advanced priming. The goal is to build a foundational control layer that shapes the AI鈥檚 core behavior, creating specialized 鈥渇unctional personalities鈥 for consistent and expert-level task execution.
Module Activities
- Transition to Advanced Priming
Move beyond basic prompting to master advanced priming techniques that establish a foundational control layer for AI behavior. - Design AI Personas
Learn to create specialized “functional personalities” that ensure consistent, expert-level execution of tasks tailored to specific professional needs. - Apply Priming Principles
Validate your understanding of core priming concepts through interactive drills and self-correcting assessments to ensure practical application.

Module 2
Advanced Prompting: Mental Frameworks and Fine-Tuned Control
This module focuses on engineering sophisticated prompts that guide the AI鈥檚 reasoning process. The aim is to move beyond simple commands and implement structured techniques that produce consistent, auditable, and high-fidelity outputs.
Module Activities
- Engineer Sophisticated Prompts
Develop the skills to guide the AI’s reasoning process using structured techniques, moving past simple commands. - Implement Structured Reasoning
Apply mental frameworks that force the AI to “think” systematically, resulting in consistent, auditable, and high-fidelity outputs. - Master Advanced Patterns
Practice and evaluate your ability to apply advanced prompting patterns through interactive exercises and targeted assessments.

Module 3
Projects and Agents: Intelligent Automation for Professional Work
This final module brings everything together by teaching you how to build and deploy autonomous AI Agents. The goal is to automate repetitive, high-value linguistic and analytical tasks by creating personalized assistants that can operate with a set of goals and tools.
Module Activities
- Understand How AI Agents Work
Gain a foundational understanding of what autonomous AI agents are, how they operate with a defined set of goals and tools, and how they differ from standard prompting. - Learn to Design Agent Structures
Explore the key components involved in designing a functional AI agent, including goal definition, tool selection, and task sequencing. - Apply Agent Thinking to Professional Contexts
Practice identifying which tools and configurations an AI agent would need to handle specific linguistic and analytical tasks in a professional setting.
